Transforming individuals and communities through the power of bicycles................

On October 8th 2015, World Record holder and  Tour of Wessex organiser Nick Bourne will be departing with 6 other athletes including from Kenya (David kinjah), South Africa (Mark Blewett) and the US (Tim Rugg) from the shadow of the Giza Pyramids, Cairo aiming to establish a new world record. 40 days later, having each covered some 10,609 km, they will arrive in Cape Town, South Africa.

Besides record breaking, the undertaking aims to fund the Safari Simbaz Cycling Academy in Kenya and the provision of 1,100 bicycles for the work of World Bicycle Relief and the realization of a world where distance no longer prevents access to healthcare, education and economic opportunity.
