THE TOUR OF WESSEX 2013

The Tour of Wessex is open for entry. New for 2013 is a medium distance three stage option. Event organisers Pendragon Sports have listened to rider feedback and now offer two route options on each of the three stages. The standard distance being 334 miles and the new medium distance 208 miles.

Event director Nick Bourne says " Having listened to the riders feedback from the past few years we delighted to be able to offer two ride distances on each stage of the Tour of Wessex. Riders who are relatively new to cycling or may not have been able to train as much as they would like due to work or other commitments, but still want to participate in all three stages, can now do so over a more managable distance".

POP UP HOTEL AT THE TOUR OF WESSEX

The Tour of Wessex is located in Somerton, the ancient Royal Capital of Wessex which has in the past had limited accommodation within easy reach. With the introduction of the Pop Up Hotel the Tour of Wessex can now offer comfortable and convinient accommodation within the grounds of the HQ.

The Pop up Hotel offers Tour of Wessex participants a unique and hassle free accommodation experience; with four levels of accommodation all with the same attention to detail and quality. The idea is to provide the convinience of staying at the Tour of Wessex HQ coupled with the luxury of great furnishings and nutritious locally sourced food to keep riders fueled for the challenge ahead.
